About Us

In 2013, I was a senior in high school. My mom had given me a camera for Christmas, which turned into taking photos of friends, sports, wildlife, and everything that you would typically see in the eyes of a 17 year old. Eventually, I had a friend ask me to take her senior photos. I had NO idea what I was doing, but I decided to take the plunge. I became obsessed! I loved capturing people in all stages of life and documenting their journeys. About a year later, I was asked to photograph a wedding. When I started doing large scale events, I decided my business needed a name, and I came up with 84 Photography.

The number 84 is believed to be a number that represents guardian angels. The number was also my dad's football number, who passed away when I was 8. I have found that I see the number everywhere I turn, and I have used to is a symbol of hope throughout my entire life. The number 84 represents honoring those that have passed, having hope for the future, and documenting every little moment in between. 

After completing my college degree and going to work in an office for a few years, I found that I wasn't feeling as fulfilled as I would hope. I ended up leaving the world of social work and investing my all in to photography full time. It was the best decision I have ever made!

A few years and many weddings later, I invited my best friend, Sage, to join me when I needed an extra hand at weddings.  Now five years later, Sage has grown as a lead photographer for weddings. Sage loves to express her creativity and has an attentive eye for unique composition. She loves working high energy, fast paced projects such as themed mini session days, family lifestyle sessions, and sessions focusing. on children.

New this year, Noah has joined the team to assist with videography. Noah has been in the photography and videography industry for 2 years and is growing rapidly with each new project. Noah's technical projection, creativity, and professionalism make him a perfect addition to our team.
