I literally say this everytime I actually blog, but I told myself that this year I would blog every single wedding (that allows me). I am forcing myself to stay accountable in 2020 and budget time for this to actually happen!
I met Mackenzie last year through a boudoir shoot. At that time, she was just getting to know this guy she met on a night out with friends. They quickly hit it off, and before I knew it, she was reaching out for me to capture her elopement! It was amazing to get to watch their relationship unfold!
The event was held at Lenape Heights Resort. Unlike many of the weddings I have photographed there, it was held in their lounge, which was absolutely spectacular. I loved that it was such a uniqueIy intimate venue that has been a well kept secret!
Detail shots have always been some of my favorite- and the lighting in this venue made them that much more fun.
Mackenzie's son, Ezra, walked her down the aisle, along side her father. The way the ceremony was set up, in the library/grand staircase at the hotel, was so unique and offered a really interesting view for everyone there!
It was a short & sweet ceremony, complete with a pinky promise and a kiss.
After the ceremony, I finished my time photographing the couple and their families and friends. We had a light dusting of snow, which I knew Mackenzie had hoped for.
Well, if you made it through, thank you for checking it out!
I'll be back for my next wedding in April!
